As a school girl, when I had to do a herbarium book, marsh marigold was the flower I could not get. I considered it to be rare species which could hardly be seen, let alone picked to be dried.
During my mid June visit to Štrbské Pleso in the High Tatras I realized this was the best time of year to be here to be able to enjoy viewing these lovely flowers.
Marsh Marigold seems to be abundant around here just about everywhere you move around some water surfaces – if its lakes or water streams.
See, you really have to be at the right place at the right time. 🙂
