Why not to concentrate on seeing all ten gates of Yokohama Chinatown gates today? I start doing so next to Yokohama Stadium park where there is the Genbu Gate (1). Not a long distance from there straight on there is the Zenrin Gate (2). I walk towards the Enpei Gate (3) from there. Then I make a strategic mistake, not going a bit further, as if out of and behind Chinatown, towards Seiyo Gate. I walk to Chikyu Gate (4) instead. From then on just straight on and straight on until I see the Tencho Gate (5) straight ahead of me in the very end of the street.
Returning two blocks I find the Ichiba-dori Gate (6) – on the southern end of Ichiba-dori Street. Eureka! I go back to Tencho Gate and I continue behind it towards Suzaku Gate (7). Then back around Tencho gate again and heading for the Choyo Gate (8). From there towards Ichiba-dori Gate (9) – on the northern end of Ichiba-dori Street. And because of my strategic mistake at the start of my today´s walk I have to go quite a distance again accross Chinatown – towards Seiyo Gate (10). I do not even mind, I like this chinatown. Good girl, you have made it! 🙂
